The Dangers of Glee Karaoke

It all started fairly innocently.

Then...

As the night went on I would not be the only one donning a wig (and 5 inch heels, sadly not pictured).

What? Who's taking these pictures? I am not drunk.

Not drunk, I said.
What's thish wordshhh?

Elsie-Delic

My first piece for the Have a Heart show is complete.
While the exhibit will explore serious food-related topics such as hunger, health and consumption, whimsical works will also be included to maintain the tone a hopeful one.

Please remember that we are currently conducting a Food Drive to benefit Food for Others.
You can drop off your non-perishable food donations at Workhouse Studio 4 during business hours.

My New Year's Resolutions

1) I will stop threatening to fight obnoxious children at check-out lines and restaurants, at least those who look like they might kick my ass.

2) I will be less insensitive, which means I will take up lying.

3) I will stop performing citizen’s arrests on people who wear jeggings/pajama jeans, pajama bottoms or slippers to the store. Instead, I will discreetly report them as shoplifters to security in hopes that they are escorted away for questioning and removed from my sight.

4) I will resist the urge to crash my vehicle into the back of another when I see a religious or political bumper sticker that doesn’t just express a thought or belief but tells me what mine should be.

5) I will be kinder to people with bad hair.

Pop Pet Portrait Commission

I must admit that I've always been a bit hesitant when it comes to pet portraiture. Not that I'm a snob against it, just that I never really felt a calling for or pictured myself doing it. When a commission came in from a collector and dear friend, I could not say no. As part of the request, I was given full creative freedom to "play" and make it my own. This made all the difference in the world and my hesitations melted away. I ended up having a lot of fun in the process. The result was "Prince: Daydreamer". The portrait was a Christmas gift and I have been informed that the recipient was thrilled!

I am certainly now open to the idea of further portraits.
