Estelle Live!

Saw Estelle at Club 9:30 last night.

She was pretty awesome.
Chick is funny as hell!
Her album, though excellent, does NO JUSTICE to her voice, which is actually very powerful live. I was very surprised by that. Even any tv spots I've seen her on have not showcased her voice as in her live show.

It was General Admission and we were RIGHT up there, but I'm getting too old for all that shovin and standing and shit.

Coulda done without her opening act...Ryan Leslie, but dude had some fans in the house.

She puts on an excellent performance. If you get the chance and like her at all you should catch her live.

I didn't want to sit down anyway...

I'm packin' house 'round the clock, but I guess it's exhausting for them.
