As so many of my paintings reflect, I am a tremendous fan of flat vibrant color and color field work. In an effort to step outside comfort zone and add a new dimension to my abstract compositions I've been adding "heft" to them by layering textures. We (The Art Monkeys) are thrilled to have been commissioned to create the artwork for Dave Reismann & Soul Club's debut album Join the Club. Dave appeared in Austrian tv's talent competition show Helden von Morgen. Join the Club is a colorful mix of synth-driven funk, soul and 80's inspired pop.
